NPP RUSMET is involved in large-scale reconstruction of waste water treatment plants in Moscow. Being a subcontracting organization of the ARKS group of companies, NPP RUSMET, on the new EWM pipe production line, using a combination of the advantages of MIG and TIG welding, has launched the production of GOST-compliant pipes made of stainless steel AISI 321 with a length of 6,000 mm, in various sizes with diameters of 620 mm, 820, 1020, 1220, 1420 and 1620 mm and a pipe wall thickness of 4 and 5 mm. The stainless steel pipes are made in accordance with GOST 10704-91; they are used in the reconstruction of treatment facilities of Moscow.

The positive European experience adopted by our experts has determined the direction of development of the waste water treatment sector of such a large metropolis as Moscow. The latest achievements in the field of sewage treatment plants have proved the prospects of using stainless steel in the structures and the rejection of reinforced concrete as the main material. Being almost eternal material, "stainless steel” is not afraid of corrosion, allows to minimize the entry into the atmosphere of the city of foul-smelling components. Moscow is becoming even cleaner and more attractive, and we are pleased to be aware of the contribution of NPP RUSMET in improving the lives of residents of the capital.

On Wednesday, November 20, 2013, a report on this large-scale reconstruction was released in the Vesti-Moscow program on on the RTR channel.
