KEY NODES

  • The screw conveyor consists of the following major components:
    • an inlet section which may have one or several loading areas;
    • supports which are installed on the base of the conveyor and fastened with anchor bolts;
    • an output section that has an offloading shaft;
    • drive unit consisting of an electric motor, gearbox and spindle.
  • The number of receiving funnels and unloaded mines can vary.
  • Parts and components of the unit are made of aisi304 stainless steel (or aisi304L, aisi316, aisi316L on request) processed by etching in an acid solution.

The helix is made of high strength carbon steel, stainless steel or HARDOX steel.
