In January 2012, new equipment, a portal-type plasma cutting machine for industrial use, MULTICAM 6000, manufactured by MULTICAM (USA) the leading world leader in the manufacture of numerically controlled equipment, was delivered to the metalworking production facility of NPP RUSMET.

The cutting speed of low-carbon steel, providing the best cut quality is 12 mm 4430 mm/min. At the same time, the maximum cutting speed is 50% higher.
For a plasma source HPR 260 XD, the speed is is 3850 mm/min and for HPR 130 XD - 2200 mm/min.

The size of the working area of the machine is 2000 x 6000 mm, an additional source of metal cutting is a gas cutter that allows to cut metals of large thicknesses. Such parameters of the machine allow to create large-sized parts from various metals.
