In December 2015 “RUSMET” LLC launched a unit for abrasive blasting of stainless steel and finished products using fine-grained stainless balls. Abrasive blasting allows for solving a wide range of surface treatment (cleaning) tasks, ranging from rust removal to surface hardening of a part. The surface processing is carried out by the APN-100-DU unit in a specialized chamber with a size of 6000x4000x3000 mm, which allows for processing products with a maximum size of 4000x2000x2000 mm. The processing time for a flat surface of 1 m2 on average is 1 hour, which allows you to process up to 12 m2 per day. Matte finishing stainless steel is the most common task. Finishing with stainless beads removes discolouration in the weld area, traces of mechanical stripping, and gives stainless steel the proper aesthetics and presentation.
